School Age Care
School Age children have a great time at Glen Oaks! We offer a healthy snack shortly after arrival from school followed by outside time on our shady playground -- a great place to exercise, play and enjoy nature. Multiple classrooms allow us flexibility with differing age groups and keeps our group sizes small. There is time each day for help with homework and fun with friends. On days when public school is not in session, Glen Oaks is open to our public school children at no extra charge to their parents.
Our Summer Camp provides great fun and ample learning opportunities through planned, theme-based curriculum, age appropriate field trips, arts and crafts and visiting presentations. Weekly field trips can include swimming, skating and going to the movies. We visit area parks, museums, aquariums, libraries and historical places in Dallas and the surrounding communities. Field trips are scheduled usually 2-3 times per week. All field trips are included in the cost of quarterly supply fees, so all children attend any scheduled trips and events! |
